Purpose and eligible personsPurposes approved by SIDBI under its schemes shall be granted to educated (not below SSLC) unemployed women residing within Chennai Corporation limits who propose to set-up small production / manufacturing / service units in the areas of activities listed below. They should have undergone training successfully in their respective areas from District Industries Centre or any other State Government Departments / Undertakings:

  • Beauty Parlour / Cosmetology
  • DTP
  • Plastic Injection Moulding
  • Fast Food
  • Bakery Products
  • Fashion / Design
  • Interior Decoration
  • Repairing of electronic components
  • Internet Browsing Centres
  • Food Processing Units
  • Any other purpose approved by SIDBI
