Objective	To promote economic development activities and self-employment ventures for the benefit of persons with disability.
Eligible persons	Any disable person who fulfills the following criteria: Any Indian Citizen with 40% or more disability. Age between 18 and 55 years. Annual Income below Rs.1.00 lakh. Relevant educational / technical / vocational qualification /experience and background.
Quantum	Setting up of small business in service / trading sector. Upto Rs.3.00 lakhs Purchase of vehicle for commercial hiring. Upto Rs.5.00 lakhs Self-employment amongst persons with mental retardation / cerebral palsy / autism. Upto Rs.3.00 lakhs Setting up of Small Industrial Unit. Upto Rs.5.00 lakhs Loan for education / training to disabled person. Upto Rs.7.50 lakhs for studies within India and Upto Rs.15.00 lakhs for abroad.
Documents	Application Form (as per format). Disability Certificate (as per format). Income Certificate. Birth / Age Certificate. Caste Certificate. Affidavit stating that no loan has been availed from any other Government Agency for the same purpose.
Rate of Interest	Upto Rs.50,000 5% Above Rs.50,000 and upto Rs.5.00 lakhs 6% Above Rs.5.00 lakhs 8%
Rebate	Rebate of 1% on interest is given to women with disabilities.
Repayment	Maximum period 10 years. Moratorium: 3 years.
